Railway turnout heating elements for the electrical heating of turnouts are mounted directly to resistor, crossbuck with movable bow and are also used in setting closures to heat the channel space and to heat the resistor. Railway heaters can be supplied complete with clamping brackets and anti-fill brackets.
For many years, we have been a leading Polish manufacturer and supplier of railway heaters used for melting snow and ice from railway turnouts managed by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowee S.A. (Polish Railways). Our tournouts heaters meet the requirements of safety procedures. We hold a current Polish Railway Traffic Operation Permit Certificate No. U/2003/0020 issued by the Chief Railway Inspector.

Tramway heaters
Tram turnout heating elements are used to melt snow and ice, allowing switches to operate properly during the winter season. As a standard, tram turnout heaters are manufactured with 900W and 1300W power at 660V DC supply voltage, 3000m length and 6x12mm cross-section. In addition, tram turnout heating heaters are available in two material options:
Standard version
Heating element 900W/660V or 1300W/660V, with hermetic vulcanised head. In addition, the ‘-’ conductor is equipped with protection against moisture penetration. Element sheath made of AISI 316L material. Elements designed for use in 3/4" cover pipe.
Monel 400 version
Heating element 900W/660V or 1300W/660V, with hermetic head. Element sheath made of Monel 400 material. The heater has warranty for 24 months.
