About the product
PTC (positive temperature coefficient) heaters are self-regulating heaters. The power of the heater depends on the extraction of heat from the surface of the heating element, i.e. the current sheath temperature - the maximum power of the heater is achieved at low sheath temperatures, while when the sheath temperature of the heater increases, the power decreases. Thanks to this feature, separate power or temperature controllers are not required. PTC heaters manufactured by us can work both in the air and completely immersed in water.
The main application for PTC heaters is condensate evaporation in refrigeration equipment.
Condensate evaporation heaters
PTC heaters of our production, do not require drilling the container, or installation in the tank wall. The hermetic heater (IP68 waterproof class) can lie freely on the bottom of the tank, and the hexagonal heads (steel or plastic) prevent movement of the heater and heating of the bottom of the tank.
We also produce heaters in the classic version - mounting on M16x1.5 thread.

*The peak power specified above is the maximum value for a heater immersed in water at ~0ºC. For water temperature ~90ºC, the power of heater is ~70% of the peak power, while for operation in air (evaporated condensate) the power consumption is ~10% of the peak power.
The 540W and 640W heaters are made in bent form - U type.
